    Job Description

    A leader in the Restaurant Industry is looking for an experienced IT Manager to join their team. They are a people-focused concept, with a great culture and an unstoppable growth plan.

    The Manager of IT must be a hands-on self-starter that will evolve and scale the technology strategies, processes, and practices while driving execution as the business grows at a very rapid pace. This individual will lead and oversee core business applications; develop and deploy an integrated IT and management information system strategy.

    MANAGER OF IT RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide a high level of service with front-line IT phone support and on-site support to the Restaurants and Restaurant Support Center (RSC) team
    • Assist in new unit openings which include IT setup, installing networks, POS/BOS Systems, routing tickets, etc
    • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
    • Perform remote troubleshooting through troubleshooting techniques, remote support, and information resources, system upgrades and patching
    • Tracking of incidents - logging, escalations, follow-up and resolution
    • Provide secondary or escalation support for outsourced IT solutions
    • Create, test, and implement promotions and new menu items in the point of sale and inventory system
    • Update menu items as needed across all sales platforms; including the POS, online ordering platform and 3rd party providers
    • Update and maintain troubleshooting documentation
    • Help with architecting, implementing, and ongoing refinement of core business applications
    • Assist in strategy development and deployment, general management, support, and oversight relating to IT infrastructure, operations, and other software applications
    • Builds and maintains a positive working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including communicating effectively regarding planning, implementation, use and support of technology resources
    • Assist in developing standard operating procedures, policies, and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to end-users and outsourcing vendors
    • Assist with new infrastructure and application initiatives that are developed, purchased, or outsourced to meet business needs
    • Stay abreast of technology changes, emerging technologies, and relevant regulatory requirements
    • Assist with monitoring and driving improvements in technical and processing priorities and methods
    • Assists in developing, tracking, and managing the technology annual operating and capital budgets
    • Assist in developing and implementing back up, disaster recovery, and contingency protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss. Assist with IT security audits or investigations
    • Assists in ensuring access controls are in place to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data
    • Assist in the designing and implementation of processes to manage and monitor the security of systems, devices and networks
    • Assist in planning for and implementation of upgrades to assure network performance and stay in compliance with vendor support requirements and industry best practices
    • Help with the implementation of technology projects and tasks through implementation planning, technical assistance, and management of activities

    MANAGER OF IT REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor s degree
    • At least 5 year s experience supporting a multi-location restaurant environment
    • Experience with a restaurant brand that had high growth, including supporting new restaurant builds
    • Must be detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Must be able to handle confidential data at all times
    • Display a high sense of urgency at all times
    • Self-starter with willingness to work hands-on; ability to work autonomously
    • Skilled in Microsoft programs, especially Excel, and navigating web-based applications
    • Excellent problem-solving skills: recognize, analyze and resolve effectively
    • Ability to sit for an extended period, typing and looking at a computer screen. May also require some reaching, bending, and lifting
    • Positive attitude and a servant mindset when it comes to supporting our Restaurant teams
    • Ability to periodically work nights and weekends
    • Ability to travel as needed
