    As a brand-minded Graphic Designer joining our marketing team, you will help us promote our services to potential clients and partners across the Southeast in small towns and large metro regions. You will be responsible for creating compelling and consistent visual content that showcases our expertise, values, and vision through printed and digital materials that put us against competition at a national level. We are looking for someone who is organized and creative, savvy and brand-forward, sophisticated and clear, whose style matches our desired aesthetics and can help elevate our brand into the next decades.


    Essential functions and responsibilities include:

    • Collaborate with marketing, corporate teams and department leaders to understand their objectives for a larger vision and help determine the steps to get there.
    • Use graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and PowerPoint, and more to create high-quality and professional graphics that will elevate our brand.
    • Be a tactful communicator and listener with our internal clients with the ability to decipher their ideas, information and inspiration into creatively branded materials.
    • Be able to look at our competitors and what they are doing right or wrong and know how to take the best ideas and integrate them into our brand library.
    • Have a keen eye for integrating photography, typography, white space, hierarchy of information, our color palette and graphic elements into compelling marketing materials that will elevate our brand to the highest levels.
    • Be able to work with internal clients to create and elevate Internal branding and sub-branding of various services and markets within the corporate brand family.
    • Design and produce various marketing materials for both printed and digital formats, including, but not limited to presentations, brochures, handouts, qualifications statements, case studies, advertisements, site signage, etc.
    • Be able to explain your design concepts and collaborate with various internal clients to settle on a design through tactful interpersonal communication.
    • Be able to visually translate technical ideas or detailed information into concise and impactful graphics that can help us tell a story and build up our asset library of icons, timelines, process graphics, statistical graphics, infographics and more.
    • Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a larger team, keeping assets organized so that the team is more efficient.
    • Be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize individual deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Work with the Vice President of Marketing to ensure that all designs are aligned with the company’s branding guidelines and standards and can work across printed and digital mediums.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in graphic design, marketing and visual communication.

    Job Requirements:

    (Mandatory)

    • Minimum of 5 years of proven AEC Graphic Designer experience or 7 years of proven experience as a Graphic Designer in a client focused environment
    • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications or similar.
    • Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and PowerPoint
    • Demonstrated knowledge of design principles, such as typography, color, layout, composition and more.
    • Extensive portfolio of previous work demonstrating creativity and versatility in print and digital media required.
    • Tactful interpersonal communication with a proactive approach.
    • Persuasiveness and diplomacy in verbal and visual communication.
    • Self-motivated and creative with a proactive and initiative-driven mindset.
    • Capable of working effectively under pressure while maintaining composure and urgency.
    • Demonstrate strong time and project management skills with minimal oversight.
    • Collaborate effectively with internal clients across all levels, both autonomously and as part of a team, utilizing in-person and remote communication methods.
    • Capable of managing multiple projects with overlapping critical deadlines and schedules.

    (Preferred)

    • Architectural focused firm experience is a big plus.
    • Previous experience in promoting AEC service, the solicitation process for clients and/or creating proposals and statements of qualifications.
    • Familiarity working with floor plans, site plans, concept renderings and sketches in addition to professional and amateur photography.
    • Strategic mindset with a technical understanding of the AEC industry and the strategies required for success.
    • Experience creating and evolving brand identities, sub-brands and internal branding through color, typography, logo types and other graphic elements.
    • Ability to train and elevate the marketing team in basic design concepts and Adobe software skills.
    • Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) software, organization of asset libraries, and CRM software.
