    Shift Information:

    • 12 Hour rotating Night Shifts:
    • 1st week- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
    • 2nd week- Wednesday and Thursday
    • Work about 15 days a month and still have 42 hours of time every week! Plenty of days off to enjoy life!

    Pay

    • Top Pay is $29.03/hour

    General Description:

    As a Maintenance and Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support to the manufacturing process by troubleshooting, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing all tire-related manufacturing and processing machinery and equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring safety and maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility.

    Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

    • Conducting maintenance and repairs on a diverse range of equipment to ensure optimal operating conditions and uptime across all relevant areas

    • Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machines and drive power distribution systems, instrumentation, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems

    • Addressing PLC maintenance issues

    • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, and other mechanical issues

    • Interpreting blueprints, sketches, maintenance manuals, and manufacturing specifications

    • Performing cutting, forming, threading, fitting, and installing piping for air, water, steam, oil, nitrogen, gas, and other lines

    • Preparing and welding in flat, vertical, or overhead positions using various technologies

    • Using gas torches or other equipment to cut structural stock for fabrication

    • Logging or utilizing computerized work order system for recording repair and maintenance activities

    • Adhering to safe work standards including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Fall Protection, Confined Spaces, and appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE),NFPA 70E (Arc flash)

    • Complying with Goodyear's attendance policy

    • Performing a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, including lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights when applicable

    Basic Qualifications:

    • HS Diploma/GED

    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future

    • Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations

    • Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer, pre-employment contingencies

    • Ability to work any and/or rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, or overtime if applicable

    • Basic computer skills

    • Must provide basic tools

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in Industrial Maintenance with basic knowledge and understanding of machine technology, construction, operation of heavy industrial machinery and power/control devices,PLCs, variable frequency drives, servo drives, power distribution, instrumentation, preventative maintenance, human machine interfaces, hydraulics, and pneumatics

    • Journeyman's card preferred or AAS in Industrial Maintenance

    • Experience adhering to industry-specific safety standards

    You should be proficient in:

    • PLC Troubleshooting Skills
    • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
    • Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment
    • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

    Machines & technologies you'll use:

    • Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
