Base Compensation: Commencing at $19 per hour with the potential to earn up to $23.49 per hour
The Line Workers for Assembly operate manufacturing machinery and/or perform manual labor that supplies raw materials, products, or services associated with the production and processing of tires and tire components.
Shift Particulars: 12-hour shifts, rotating every two weeks
Work Atmosphere: Tupelo, MS Plant
Safety is our utmost priority, and safety procedures/guidelines must always be followed. This includes utilizing safety gear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes.
The job is situated in a fast-paced, heavily industrial environment, and you may be required to work in various areas of the factory.
The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.
Job-specific particulars encompass, but are not restricted to:
Lifting/carrying items weighing 50-75 pounds repeatedly
Walking or standing, which may also involve stooping, crawling, and crouching around conveyors and/or production equipment
Efficiently and safely operating and monitoring equipment/line, relocating or adjusting materials and/or finished products as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation
Operating manufacturing equipment proficiently and securely
Ensuring product quality
Facilitating prompt repairs to the line and collaborating with maintenance when necessary
Cleaning equipment and the work area during and after the shift
Maintaining daily records of machine operations and downtime
Core Qualifications:
Completion of high school or possession of a GED
Must be at least 18 years old
Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship, both presently and in the future
Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at elevated heights with or without reasonable accommodations
