  • Responsibilities

    As an SEM specialist, you will own the paid search media space, developing effective SEM strategies tailored to specific business objectives. Your expertise in Google Ads, data analysis, and digital marketing trends will be instrumental in achieving campaign success and maximizing return on investment (ROI).

    The position also provides the opportunity to learn multiple digital disciplines beyond paid search/media, where you will work closely with creative/Web development teams and agencies and look holistically at the digital landscape.
    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy creation, bid management, and ad extensions optimization.
    • Analyze campaign performance metrics to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement/innovation.
    • Design and develop landing pages with a focus on conversion rate optimization (CRO).
    • Conduct A/B testing of ad creatives, landing pages, and other campaign elements to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
    • Monitor and adjust campaign budgets, bids, and targeting parameters in collaboration with sales leaders and market demand.
    • Provide regular reporting and analysis to marketing leadership on campaign performance, and deliver recommendations for optimization based on empirical evidence.
    • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for campaign expansion and optimization.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience managing large-scale Google Ads accounts with a primary focus on lead generation campaigns.
    • Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns with a focus on driving measurable results and ROI.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Proficiency in the Google Ads platform including campaign setup, optimization, and reporting.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas and strategies to C-suite leadership.
    • Comfortable working in CMS platforms and CRM systems as a power user and data analyst.
    • Applied knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager or other web analytics platforms and their use in Google's bidding algorithms.
    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with other digital marketing channels such as SEO, display advertising, or social media advertising is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Google Local Services Ads (LSA) accounts and properties, including thorough understanding of the LSA platform interface, functionalities, and best practices.
    • Deep understanding of offline conversion tracking.
    • Knowledge of, and interest in, leveraging data visualization software such as Looker Studio or PowerBI, to drive faster decision-making.
    • Home improvement industry experience and proven understanding of the unique customer journey in the space.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
