    The Google Cloud Security Admin will work with our Tesseract team to design, implement, automate, and manage secure Google Cloud enclaves.

    Job Summary:

    Fit for the Role:

    We are seeking a Google Cloud Security Admin to add to our dynamic team. In this role, you will be part of the development team responsible for the implementation and deployment of Google Solutions on a Google Cloud Platform (GCP), maintaining security standards and IaaS configuration, deployment and maintenance. Your primary responsibility is to manage user identity and roles, provide security and threat management in our Google Cloud Platform and support any migrations and managing Google Workspace. You will also be responsible for implementing, testing and troubleshooting issues as they arise, and designing security configurations. Automation is a key skill in this role as you will be required to build automations for configuring environments and performing common administration tasks. You will also be required to understand various cybersecurity requirement frameworks such as NIST 800-171.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Maintain security and reliability of Gmail, Google Workspace services, and GCP resources.
    • Support Google Workspace and GCP security and compliance.
    • Assist in the design and delivery of Google Workspace and GCP solutions to meet business needs and objectives.
    • Develop, maintain, and update Google Workspace and GCP governance documentation, including access policies and audit logs.
    • Work closely with sales, developers and engineering team members to solve issues and provide sustainable solutions.
    • Perform additional duties as required to fulfill customer program requirements
    • Utilize Scrum methodologies to assign and delegate tasks to ensure that the team’s work aligns with priorities ensuring that the team is fully deployed and not idle.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

      • 3+ years of relevant experience in Google Cloud Security Administration.
      • Proficiency with core services like Compute Engine, Cloud storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Monitoring.
      • Experience with Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar tools.
      • Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting experience for automating tasks and managing resources.
      • Strong understanding of GCP security best practices, IAM policies, service accounts, and compliance tools like Google Vault and DLP.
      • Direct experience with GCP networking (VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, load balancers, and Cloud NAT).
      • Familiarity with user provisioning, group management, and policy enforcement.
      • Familiarity with Microsoft’s Entra IDaaM system for integration with GCP and GWS.

      Qualifications:

      • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
      • Strong verbal, documentation and writing skills.
      • Familiarity with Agile Scrum Processes.
      • Ability to work project tasks to completion with little to no supervision.
      • Excellent foundation in algorithms and design.
      • Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task.
