Responsibilities: • Maintain and grow existing portfolios by developing and implementing effective and attentive sales strategies that cultivate long-term customer loyalty • Stay abreast of insurance industry protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, and monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction • Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders • Work with policyholders to develop and deliver risk management strategies that fit their individual profiles • Listen attentively to new and potential clients, evaluate their needs and their financial statuses, and propose ideal plan options for their unique circumstances and insurance needs • Create tailored risk management strategies directly with clients that align with their risk profiles • Remain updated on insurance industry changes and protocols to fulfill all policy requirements and monitor insurance claims from start to finish • Spend time listening to new and potential clients, assess their priorities and finances, and determine suitable insurance plan options that successfully meet their individual insurance needs • Goal and action-oriented, with the ability and desire to work towards activity and sales targets • High level of comfort with outreach directly to prospective clients • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage one-on-one as well as an audience • Keep bookkeeping systems, sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress to monthly and quarterly sales quotas to stakeholders • Persistence, drive, and ability to work proactively • Team player and team-spirited Qualifications: • Experience with accounting and or sales lead software is a plus • Job seekers must have an insurance license • Superb analytical, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills are needed to succeed in this role • Some computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office is required • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required • Proven understanding of the insurance industry including insurance products, risk management, and any state and federal regulations • Some computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office are required • Some experience with accounting or sales lead software is beneficial • Current P&C license in the resident (Texas) state • Professional phone etiquette • Ability to work with multiple potential customers and be prompt on all associated follow-ups • Strong work ethic and leadership skills • Strong communication skills, both oral and written • Strong team player and ability to work independently as needed to achieve individual and team-based goals Compensation: $75,000 - $120,000 per year
