PRE-ENGINEERING INSTRUCTOR

JOB SUMMARY:

Instructor will teach Pre-Advanced Placement and/or Advanced Placement Physics and Math courses; and Project Lead the Way (PLTW, Pre-Engineering) courses. Participate in the student selection process.

Ensure effective evaluation of student achievement. Support the development and integration of technical and academic curricula. Provide classroom instruction as assigned. Develop external partnerships that enhance student learning and access to higher education.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• BS Degree

• Oklahoma State Department of Education Certification in physics and algebra II.

• 3 years or more of successful professional experience in a related field

• Willingness to attend PLTW & AP training if applicant has previously not

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Master’s Degree

• Teaching experience in related field

WORK DAYS: 196 days per fiscal year

COMPENSATION:

Based on GCTC certified salary schedule. Commensurate with experience and education:

$59,985-$76,348, plus competitive benefit package
