  • Responsibilities

    Job Purpose:

    Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements.

    Job Description:

    Prepares general ledger journal entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.

    Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the ERP system.

    Reviews job cost reports and prepares analysis of cost variances.

    Reviews and redlines customers’ Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.

    Assists CFO with budget and forecast preparation.

    Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending improvements.

    Regularly maintains detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.

    Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

    Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Education & Experience:

    · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required · 5 plus years of experience in Accounting required · CPA or CMA is a plus · Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) · Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint · Strong written and oral communication skills · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously · Strong organizational and analytical skills · Ability to read and understand technical forms and financial reports · Willingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships
