    JOB OVERVIEW

    The VIRTUAL PARTNER MARKETING MANAGER will consult, support, and coach on best marketing practices to increase profitability. The Virtual Partner Marketing Manager is keen on the IT industry, as well as channel and digital marketing standards while providing an expert level of support to Technology Alliance partners. The Virtual Partner Marketing Manager is willing to learn and understand different brands, industries, and various technologies to generate leads and create content in terms of digital, social, event, and direct marketing. This role will be responsible for bridging the gap between Gorilla Corporation’s vendors and resellers by identifying their needs and finding creative ways to meet those needs via building the right relationships. The ideal candidate is professional, attentive, and outgoing as time will be spent on the phone building long-term relationships with established and future clients. This position is best for someone with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and experience in digital and channel partner marketing in the technology industry.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    • Create a thorough analysis of the strategic technology alliance partners’ business and marketing efforts
    • Plan joint marketing activities for partners
    • Cooperatively work collaboratively with partnerships to ensure co-marketing and co-branding to successfully sell to customers
    • Lead meetings with partners and client, including taking notes and ensuring action items are met
    • Present an analysis and status report to leadership related to progress made on a quarterly and annual basis
    • Monitor partner’s performance
    • Act as a Consultant/Subject Matter Expert to understand each partner’s need and make strong marketing plan recommendations concerning marketing practices
    • Create engaging content for email campaigns and social media
    • Leverage the marketing automation software and resources provided by vendor to customize marketing content
    • Provide support to alliance partners

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field
    • Understands the relationship management aspect and function of the partner ecosystem
    • Strategic experience and knowledge on how to grow technology alliance partnerships
    • Possess broad knowledge of the IT industry in terms of marketing/sales as well as a brief technical understanding
    • Strong understanding of lead generation best practices
    • Excellent digital marketing, social media marketing, direct and inbound marketing skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Proficient in Google products (Gmail, Google Drive, etc.)

    EXPERIENCE

    • 4+ years of experience in the marketing field
    • B2B marketing experience, highly preferred
    • Partner Marketing experience, strongly preferred
    • Technology experience, preferably SaaS experience
    • Utilization of a CRM system and experience with various marketing automation platforms
