    Job Summary: We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a team of associates for our 3PL facility. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing strong leadership guidance for all associates on the team.

    Some of your duties may include:

    Ensure the proper recording and management and disposal of all impaired, rejected or damaged merchandise items.

    Operate adequate merchandise management tools (ie- pallet jack, pallet stacker, forklift).

    Plans, organizes, prioritizes and supervises the receiving, storage, and issuance of warehouse inventory, fulfillment stock, product to be inspected and stored product.

    Resolve employee problems and collaborate with team members, peers, and other stakeholders to facilitate problem resolution.

    Evaluate and coach team members for maximum performance management.

    Receives and schedules the team based on the delivery schedule of carriers.

    Communicate with various business relationship personnel, vendors and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities.

    Assists with approving absences, to include managing vacation schedules.

    Makes overtime recommendations, and may approve overtime in emergency situations.

    Provides oversight, supervision, and direction to personnel who may be working in the warehouse in performance of warehouse duties.

    Resolves delivery issues, including storage, claims, and adjustments; receives and disposes of obsolete equipment and materials.

    Enforces inspection, warehouse and distribution standards and procedures.

    Trains personnel who may be working in the warehouse in safe and compliant operating procedures and practices to include warehouse lifting and moving equipment operation.

    Assigns and assesses work of warehouse staff.

    Oversees and performs personal duties to store, organize and maintain inventory and confidential records, utilizing proper storage methods and procedures and to prepare, pack and load shipments, supplies, materials, products, and liquidation for delivery.

    Direct personnel who may be working in the warehouse and/or personally assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles containing a variety of supplies, materials and equipment.

    Prepares, reviews, and processes legible and accurate forms and records, timesheets.

    Responsible for timely and accurate completion of accident and injury reports. Completes forms, records, and reports as required by policies.

    Maintains storage areas and warehouse equipment in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner.

    Ensure that the necessary security within the warehouse is maintained.

    Operates transport vehicles, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment (DOQ).

    Meet and exceed productivity and quality goals and standards.

    Stores and retrieves pallets of materials from warehouse location.

    Manages and administers performance reviews for warehouse associates assigned to them.

    Skills and Abilities:

    Ability to understand and retain knowledge of standard operating procedures

    Ability to successfully complete on the job training and certification process

    Package inspection skills/experience is a plus

    Basic PC skills are required (i.e., keyboarding skills, basic mouse usage, opening and closing programs and files using MS Windows)

    Ability to stand in place for long periods of time

    Equipment and Technology:

    Operate manual and electric pallet jack

    Ability to work within a laptop/desktop computer

    Handheld Barcode Scanner

    Weight Scales

    Safety: Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Perform all tasks in a manner which promotes safety in accordance with OSHA standards.

    Qualifications:

    Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

    Good communication skills

    Attention to detail

    Familiarity with operation of basic hand tools

    Machine experience is a plus

    See and identify colors

    Experience: Dangerous Goods/Prohibited Goods experience is a plus

    Schedule: Day Shift-Depending on needs of the business
