A Server at Gotti’s restaurant is responsible for taking orders, answering questions about the menu and food, selling the restaurant's food and drinks, up-selling items on the menu, accepting payment, communicating orders with the kitchen staff & management, and helping with customer service and cleaning.

Responsibilities:

Preparing non-kitchen food items including drinks, desserts, and condiments.

Ensuring diners have a good experience by taking orders, preparing drinks, delivering food, and offering great customer service.

Attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their orders.

Checking on customers often and suggesting additional items like appetizers and desserts.

Taking orders for new visitors quickly

Writing or printing bills, explaining them to customers, and collecting payments

Troubleshooting equipment issues and telling management when repairs are needed

Making sure that orders are accurate before bringing them to customers

Qualifications:

Outstanding customer service skills

Good verbal communication skills

Knowledge of basic math

Understanding of food safety and how viruses and bacteria can spread

Familiarity with local food safety regulations and other laws

Excellent organizational and time management skills

TABC certification
