Job Description

The Data Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining data in systems. They will support the day-to-day management of the websites in partnership with the Data Specialist, Digital Merchandisers, Category Managers, Marketing, and Contact Center. This includes responsibilities tied to creating and optimizing filters, importing new products, pricing, and tax codes, and managing product categories for reporting. These responsibilities are meant to maximize sales, support conversion rate optimization, and execute promotions within the Marketing calendar.

• Maintain and update existing product dataset in product database with accurate data.

• Proactively recommend enhancements to automate & optimize management of merchandising efforts and data updates.

• Prepare new product for launch in excel and backend systems:

  • Partner with Digital Merchandisers to assist, review and import new products into the ecommerce system by formatting in excel template.
  • Troubleshoot errors during import.
  • Work with Category Managers and Digital Merchandising to implement creative attributes and facets that allow for easy navigation on the live site for the customer.

• Implement any price changes and promotional pricing provided by Accounting or Category Managers.

• Maintain accurate imports for all the following: weights, dimensions, class, subclass, tax codes and Google categories

• Review email tests and promotions at launch to identify or troubleshoot any errors.

• Review Marketing calendar weekly to prepare for upcoming email features or promotions and offer new ideas to match theme

• Build a deep knowledge of the filters existing in the product database to ensure the experience for the customer is easy to increase conversion rate

• Evaluate and maintain effective shops, facets, attributes, and shop strategies that facilitate efficient search, reinforce a positive brand experience, and support effective visual merchandising

• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross functional teams ie. Merchandising, Marketing, Customer Care and Development

REQUIREMENTS

• 4-year degree from college or university strongly preferred.
• 2-4 years of online marketing or merchandising or data management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Ability to execute tasks/projects with little supervision and in a remote office setting.
• Problem solver with the ability to think creatively to solve problems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when switching between tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally.
• Willingness to learn quickly and thrive in an ever-changing environment.
• Displays resourcefulness while working under limited supervision, in order to gain a thorough understanding of the many complex systems and tools used daily.
• Ability to pass a background and drug test.
