Position Overview

The Government Biller will be responsible for the organization's government payer billing, including claims submission, follow-up, reimbursement, and adherence to payer requirements.

This role requires someone who can operate independently and troubleshoot claims issues within the government payer environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit claims to government payers
• Follow up on outstanding government claims through to reimbursement
• Ensure claims meet government payer requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve government claims issues independently
• Serve as the specialist for government payer billing within the operation

Required Qualifications

• Direct government payer billing experience
• Hands-on experience working with government claims
• Strong understanding of claims submission, follow-up, reimbursement, and payer requirements
• Medical billing or revenue cycle management (RCM) background
• Ability to operate independently and troubleshoot claims issues
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
• Previous behavioral health billing exposure is highly preferred
