Grace Health is searching for Certified Medical Assistants to join our Student Health Center to support Battle Creek Central, Lakeview High School, Northwestern Middle School and Springfield Middle School. You will have the opportunity to interact with the students and build a trustworthy atmosphere. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 7:30-3:30. Additionally, we offer competitive wages based on experience and up to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year! Weekend and holidays off! Sign-on bonus ($500 after successful completion of your probationary period and $500 after 6 months).

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list is not all inclusive.)

1. Obtains accurate patient data
2. Documents in the medical record
3. Prepares exam rooms and procedure rooms
4. Assists provider during exams and procedures
5. Administers medications, per written order
6. Provides educational materials to patient/family
7. Provides explanation of lab results, diagnostic testing results and provider orders to patient/family
8. Assists with cleaning and stocking of exam rooms and suites
9. Performs CLIA waived testing
10. General office duties, as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- One year of work experience in a medical office setting and/or certification as medical assistant required
- Current BCLS certification and experience in pediatric primary care preferred
