Graduate Admissions Specialist Interviewer
Job Description
The Graduate Admissions Specialist – Interview Team plays a key role in the prospective student experience from inquiry to enrollment. Reporting into the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions, the GASI is responsible for interviewing prospective students, documenting the interaction, and providing feedback for the Admissions committee to aid in the decision process. As a highly skilled, individual contributor, the GASI is charged with interview scheduling and submission and providing feedback for their prospective students. This includes but is not limited to advising and building relationships with prospective students, interviewing eligible students, providing excellent customer service via phone calls, emails and SMS text and utilizing Internet applications and student databases.
Responsibilities
Ensures that interviews move with pace and excellence through admissions process.
Manages interview processes ensuring that timelines and expectations are met.
Conducts Prospective student interviews to create an interview write-up for review by the admissions committee
Works with admissions teams to align all new student activities.
Interviews qualified applicants and provides summary to Admissions Committee for a decision; communicates decisions with students.
Continually works to improve skill set and adheres to coaching provided by team leadership
Performs with a “can do”, collaborative and team first mentality across all ATGE Med Teams
Mentor and Coach Graduate Admissions Specialists, fostering a collaborative and results oriented team environment
Lead team meetings and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives based on reporting and coaching data
Leverage knowledge base resources to continuously refine and improve student onboarding procedures. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and optimize efficiency.
reports to understand conversion rates and overall performance metrics. Utilize data insights to implement strategies that enhance student success.
Actively participate in quality assurance reviews, internalizing feedback to improve personal performance and contribute to departmental effectiveness.
Become a master user of approved student information systems, ensuring their full utilization. Provide training and support to colleagues for optimal system usage.
Foster a collaborative environment by actively engaging colleagues in brainstorming sessions and sharing process improvement ideas.
Performs other duties as assigned

_In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $50,000.00 and $80,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
