  • Responsibilities

    CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to join a team responsible for supporting the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) Disability Evaluation System (DES). The ideal candidate will provide support to program-related systems and applications, future IT infrastructure planning, architecture analysis, performance management and metrics, and analysis of IT requirements.  

     

    Candidate must be passionate about helping others solve problems. The person will coordinate input from cross-functional sources to research/solve business or systems issues and conduct cost-benefit analyses for alternative system development methods and procedures. Perform acceptance testing to validate compliance with requirements.

    Required Skills

     

    • DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) formats and models.
    • Understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework and the Security Assessment and Authorization process.
    • Knowledge of cloud security using AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, or other industry-recognized tools.
    • Strong IT qualitative and quantitative analysis skills.
    • Ability to analyze areas of concern to determine the cause, and provide solutions to problems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Required Experience

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related business area from an accredited college/university. (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted).
    • Minimum of 4 years of professional work experience providing IT support or services.

     

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE OR KNOWLEDGE:

     

    • Knowledge and understanding of DoD's Disability Evaluation System (DES).
    • Experience with the Special Compensation for Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (SCAADL).
    • Knowledge and understanding of the Physical Disability Board of Review and/or the Compensation and Benefits Handbook.
    • Experience with and understanding of DoD health data.
