We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to lead our sales and marketing efforts as the Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, you will oversee our sales team, develop innovative marketing strategies, and play a crucial part in exceeding our sales targets and expanding our market presence. Compensation: • Expected Yearly Earnings: $85,000 • Incentive Bonus • Paid Time Off • Health Insurance Benefits • Simple IRA with matching • Company vehicle & phone Responsibilities: • Build, Lead and manage the sales team to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets. • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and increase market share. • Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and generate leads. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operations. • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business partnerships. • Provide regular performance reports and insights to the Leadership Team. • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to penetrate new markets and capitalize on emerging opportunities. • Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel. • Collaborate with product development teams to identify market trends and opportunities for new product offerings. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, trade associations, and other key stakeholders. • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making. • Lead the development of compelling sales presentations and collateral to support sales efforts. • Monitor and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. • Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives to maximize revenue potential from existing clients. • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and generate leads. • Mentor and coach junior members of the sales team to foster professional growth and development. Qualifications: • The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales leadership roles is required, demonstrating a proven track record of success. • Strong leadership abilities are essential, including the skill to inspire and motivate a sales team towards achieving set goals. • The candidate should be a strategic thinker, well-versed in sales and marketing principles. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, enabling the building of strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools is necessary for this role. • A results-oriented mindset focused on driving performance and delivering tangible results is a key attribute. • Experience in the landscaping or related industry would be advantageous. • The ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing market environment is crucial. • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners is highly valued.
