We are currently seeking a talented and driven leader to take on the role of Director of Sales and Marketing. In this position, you will lead our sales team and shape our marketing strategies, playing a key role in not just meeting but surpassing our annual sales goals and expanding our market influence. Compensation: • Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 • Expected Yearly Earnings: $85,000 • Incentive Bonus • Paid Time Off • Health Insurance Benefits • Simple IRA with matching Responsibilities: • Build, Lead and manage the sales team to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets. • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand our customer base and increase market share. • Oversee the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and generate leads. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operations. • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. • Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business partnerships. • Provide regular performance reports and insights to the Leadership Team. • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to penetrate new markets and capitalize on emerging opportunities. • Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions to ensure the sales team is equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel. • Collaborate with product development teams to identify market trends and opportunities for new product offerings. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, trade associations, and other key stakeholders. • Stay abreast of competitive landscape and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making. • Lead the development of compelling sales presentations and collateral to support sales efforts. • Monitor and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. • Drive cross-selling and upselling initiatives to maximize revenue potential from existing clients. • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and generate leads. • Mentor and coach junior members of the sales team to foster professional growth and development. Qualifications: • The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA being preferred. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales leadership roles is required, demonstrating a proven track record of success. • Strong leadership abilities are essential, including the skill to inspire and motivate a sales team towards achieving set goals. • The candidate should be a strategic thinker, well-versed in sales and marketing principles. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must, enabling the building of strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools is necessary for this role. • A results-oriented mindset focused on driving performance and delivering tangible results is a key attribute. • Experience in the landscaping or related industry would be advantageous. • The ability to innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing market environment is crucial. • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners is highly valued.
