    Job Description

    The Supply Chain Project Coordinator- Inventory/Logistics/ Warehouse- will be responsible for aiding in the development and implementation of key fundamental Supply Chain processes, systems and standards that build a world class Supply Chain organization. This position will work closely with all areas of the organization (Operations/Information Technology/Commercial Sales/Master Data Management/Supply Chain/Finance/Leadership).

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Aide in project management functions to develop standardization and drive adherence to critical Supply Chain process, systems and functions.
    • Create standard work processes (SOP) for all supply chain related tasks, inputs and outputs; establish systems and process to measure compliance to the standards.
    • Coordinate SAP - WMS Implementation Project; develop and execute training and plans for the organization.
    • Initiate process/systems to view and drive Supply Chain optimization (IE:  freight, warehousing and/or supply network optimization).
    • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and teams to design creative processes and systemic solutions that provide visibility and drive value/results for the organization.
    • Support future business needs to drive Supply Chain excellence.

    PROFILE/KEY COMPETENCIES:

    • Must demonstrate solid project management experience and leadership skills. Able to manage projects and teams to stay on task and delivery results on time and within budget.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills are required. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
    • Must demonstrate strong working knowledge of Supply Chain (inventory, logistics and warehousing) processes and systems.
    • Applicant must be able to work with multiple teams and functions to be effective and deliver lasting results.
    • Candidate must be highly organized, analytical and driven.
    • Previous change management and continuous improvement skills are desired.
    • Advanced computer skills required (IE: Microsoft Office, SharePoint)
    • Able to accommodate travel requirements of 25-50%.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • AA Degree or equivalent work experience is desired (Supply Chain/Operations or Business Management is preferred).
    • Minimum of 2 – 4 years’ experience in any of the following: Supply Chain/Operation/Project Management or equivalent area.
    • Must have prior working knowledge and experience with in the following Supply Chain related functions (Demand / Supply/ Inventory / Production / Material / Capacity Planning, Warehousing and/or Optimization).
    • Must have project management experience required.
    • Previous experience in SAP (PP, MM, APO, SNP, PPDS & WMS) or related ERP system is desired
    • APICS certification preferred.

    LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and speak English.  Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees, vendors, or customers of the organization.  Proven professional communication skills - listening, verbal and written.

    COMPUTER SKILLS: Excellent computer skills are required in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio among other software familiarity.  SAP experience is required. 

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and accounting. Candidate must demonstrate the ability to analyze large sums of data and determine causes for the results and plans to address.  

    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with multi-tasked problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Strong analytical and organizational skills.  Proactive problem definition and creative problem solving skills.  Ability to define creative alternatives and recommendations.
