Job Description

1. 3D modeling components and assemblies using SolidEdge mechanical software or similar package where the candidate can learn SolidEdge quickly.
2. Drafting mechanical parts and assemblies
3. The application of tolerances, inspection criteria
4. Configuration management software such as TDMS
5. Knowledge and experience with Spacecraft
6. Experienced in working with NASA or one of its subcontractors
7. Knowledge of ferrous materials such as aluminum and titanium
8. Excellent communication skills such as writing, conversing, and asking questions with a proactive personality dedicated to learning, and upgrading skills as needed.
9. Experience within a cross-functional team of other disciplines, analysts, and senior engineering personnel
10. Mechanical aptitude, integration and test experience of spacecraft or aerospace components and subassemblies
11. Experience writing assembly procedures is a plus.
12. A mechanical engineering degree is a plus
