IN-HOME DELIVERY DRIVER/ WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Gramophone, LTD is seeking an exceptional candidate that will join our team at our Timonium, MD warehouse location as a full time Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant. This person would posses solid communication and customer service skills.

The Driver will provide an exceptional level of customer service by working with our warehouse management team to deliver Gramophone products, including audio-video (AV) equipment, supplies and furniture deliveries to our residential and commercial clients. You will also deliver and manage transfers to and from our other retail locations in Columbia, Gaithersburg, and Hunt Valley MD. On average make 1-3 deliveries or transfers per day, and assist with warehouse duties & staging of projects.

Other duties and responsibilities will include assisting in assembly of furniture, connecting general AV equipment and assisting other onsite warehouse personnel with inventory management if needed. Working with our Fleet Manager to ensure our vehicles are cleaned, inside and out, and manage vehicle maintenance schedules, repairs and damage reports if needed. This is a Non-CDL position, but requires a valid DOT medical card/certificate.

Desired applicant with higher income earning potential would have strong computer skills to be able to process inventory returns, project holds, receiving records/ additionally would posses 2+ years of delivery or box truck operation.

REQUIREMENTS:

*Maintain a valid driver’s license.

*Friendly, Outgoing, and "team-work" attitude.

*Background Check Required.

*Must be 21 years of age and have an acceptable driving record.

*Ability to drive a two axle Box Truck with lift gate.

*Ability to lift, lower and carry packages that typically weigh up to 50 pounds.

*Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and greater with assistance.

• 2 YEARS OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

*Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor a must.

*Comply with all safety policies, procedures and applicable local and State laws.
