    Position Summary:

    This position is responsible for providing support to marketing and responsible for overseeing the social media accounts owned by the company. Specific duties include: working with other staff to develop and administer a social media plan, monitoring online reviews and responding accordingly. Composing social media posts which involves; copy writing, posting/editing photos and videos and some minimal graphic design. This position also requires interacting with other staff to create content as well as for composing statistics and reports. This position will require travel and regular visits to all operation locations so regularly updated content is circulated.

    Knowledge and Abilities:

    Basic understanding of Social Media formats and how to log-in/out, post, respond, and functions of all other related content

    Ability to assist with streamlining company social media accounts ensuring uniform content and tone of voice

    Ability to post and distribute content required for advertising on social media accounts

    Ability to increase views/followers to generate interest and advertising for the company

    Understanding of cultural respect and how to post without creating offensive material

    Ability to respond to reviews with detailed information and customer service support

    Ability to type, spell check, and use of appropriate font

    Knowledge of gathering, reviewing, and composing reports based off guest feedback

    Understands the requirement of remaining impartial on all politics, religious affiliations, and not posting inflammatory responses

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Develop relevant content topics to reach the company’s target audience (tourism industry)

    Create, curate, and manage all published content (images and video)

    Provide updates on positive consumer comments as well as concerns that need to be addressed.

    Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.

    Develop and expand community and/or influencer outreach efforts.

    Oversee design of content visible on social media accounts

    Administer promotions, contests, and/or other informative events on social media to increase advertising efforts

    Build positive online reviews and reputation.

    Monitor online reviews and respond to each review

    Compile reports for management showing results based on customer feedback

    Collaborate with management in evaluating possible software intended to improve tracking and streamline processes

    Develops presentations that summarize and communicates results derived from social media presence

    Additional duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or GED required

    Bachelors’ degree in Marketing or related field preferred.

    2 years’ experience in marketing or education related field preferred.

    Good oral communication, presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills.

    Valid driver’s license and must be eligible for Tribal Insurance.

    Preference given to Hualapai Tribal members.

    Working Conditions:

    Office environment. This positions is expected to travel between all operational locations.
