    Position Summary: The Sales & Marketing Manager position is tasked with a broad variety of sales & marketing related activities and operates within a deadline driven environment. Successful candidate must act primarily as a liaison between Grand Canyon Resort Corporation Sales & Marketing Department and its business partners.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Project manage planned and ad-hoc marketing campaigns for Grand Canyon Resort Corporate entities

    Assist with contract execution and accuracy as directed to include keeping records current, validating supplier compliance with contract terms and ensuring all necessary documents are up to date.

    Audit website/3rd party content weekly and aggregate required changes to Director (including changes from key stakeholders), ensuring content on website is 100% accurate and up to date.

    Travel as required to attend industry related travel shows, tradeshows, conferences and to make sales calls.

    Partner with graphic designer(s) to develop creative materials required for media fulfillment and on-property activation.

    Research market conditions and gather information to identify sales opportunities and to assist with developing advertising campaigns to promote Grand Canyon West, and all other outlets owned by the Corporation.

    Represent GCRC at business related functions organized by business partners and suppliers as requested.

    Collaborate with colleagues in various GCRC departments to accomplish universal branding and a united marketing message to achieve sales goals.

    Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

    Knowledge and Abilities:

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

    Basic knowledge of mathematics.

    Must be capable of communicating professionally in a friendly manner with colleagues, clients, business partners and suppliers on a daily basis.

    Must demonstrate professional phone and e-mail correspondence etiquette.

    Experience writing for various target audiences preferred.

    Contract management and compliance experience is preferred.

    Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing.

    Demonstrated ability to work in and foster a team environment, multi-task efficiently and maintain positive working relationships.

    Professional appearance and demeanor.

    In depth knowledge of Grand Canyon West locations and operations, Hualapai history and culture.

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or GED required

    Bachelors’ degree preferred.

    2 years’ experience in sales or marketing related field.

    Good oral communication, presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills.

    Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    Preference given to Hualapai Tribal members.

    Working Conditions:

    Corporation with multiple 24/7 operations. Must be able to work varying schedules with occasional weekend and holidays. Travel may be required to remote locations, locally, regionally or globally on occasion.
