    Position Summary:

    The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of all digital marketing programs which brand and promote GCRC as a unique high-end tourism experience, develop customer loyalty, and effectively drive new customer acquisition. This position will utilize multiple digital channels to achieve their goals, including all social media platforms, websites, CRM strategies and software, email marketing campaigns, reporting functions, and other digital marketing opportunities. This position is also responsible for the recruitment, training & development, retention, and management of the Reservations Call Center staff and procedures.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Design and execute the strategic direction of our social media initiatives, both organic and paid, demonstrating how social media can reach new audiences, amplify the impact of content, and drive business results.

    2. Identify new digital opportunities that are useful and impactful to the brand.

    3. Develop relevant content topics to reach the target audience through all channels.

    4. Develop and implement a monthly content calendar.

    5. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images and video) for publishing.

    6. Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts.

    7. Administer promotions, contests, and/or other informative events within digital channels to increase advertising efforts.

    8. Build and monitor online reviews and reputation, providing customer service support and analysis.

    9. Utilize CRM tools to further understand consumer buying behaviors, demographics, etc.

    10. Develop and manage email campaign strategies.

    11. Manage Affiliate program and promotional offers.

    12. Recruit, train, and manage, Reservations Call Center staff to ensure skill development. Support the Director of Marketing by providing digital marketing resource advice, counsel and decisions.

    13. Oversee recruitment and retention for the Reservations Call Center. Propose departmental programs to enhance recruitment and retention.

    14. Develop executive presentations which summarize and communicate positive and impactful results.

    15. Maintain and promote an environment that motivates Marketing Team Members to collaborate, learn, develop, and perform at their best.

    16. Provide continuous coaching and development to Team Members. Mentor and motivate direct reports to effectively and efficiently manage their current responsibilities, and to support and encourage professional career development, growth, and achievement of goals.

    17. Ensure that staffing is scheduled appropriately and adjusted as needed. Minimize and/or eliminate the usage of overtime.

    18. Continuously strive for perfection in creating and maintaining a positive culture in which eam members are able to thrive and provide the best possible guest service.

    19. Promote, develop, and maintain effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationships with all department leaders, which includes ensuring that the needs of outside departments and department leadership are identified and met efficiently and consistently.

    20. Perform all functions with the highest level of integrity.

    21. Observe and follow all safety procedures.

    22. Manage and maintain security of confidential information entrusted to position.

    23. Keep the Director of Marketing apprised of any and all ongoing issues and concerns, at all times.

    24. Ensure compliance with the applicable Tribal, Federal, State, local and other laws, and Grand Canyon Resort Corporation policies and procedures.

    25. Ensure delivery of the highest possible standards of guest service for the Marketing department. Assist the Director of Marketing in the implementation and continued performance of guest service standards throughout the department.

    26. Assist in the annual department budget and analysis of staffing needs. Ensure budget compliance throughout the year.

    27. Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Knowledge and Abilities:

    1. Ability to create measurable strategies and execution with clear KPIs to meet varying objectives, including building the brand story, driving product discovery, and purchase consideration via social media channels and digital mediums.

    2. Ability to execute essential functions based upon organizational goals with strategic vision.

    3. Ability to develop a full-funnel social media and digital media plan.

    4. Strong understanding of social media operations and digital marketing strategies.

    5. Proficiency in data analysis and action plan development.

    6. Well-versed in Google Analytics (GA4), including building UTMs, reviewing tracking links in GA4, and organizing the data for leadership.

    7. Understand marketing tactics, such as brand messaging, and use appropriate copy text to impact the engagement response for all campaigns.

    8. Understand the broader digital marketing landscape beyond social media, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.

    9. Work closely with the Agency of Record (AOR) to advise their direction in order to achieve the financial and brand mission.

    10. Build marketing campaigns to include Call to Action (CTAs) and monitor the performance, taking appropriate actions if campaigns do not perform well.

    11. Ability to conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

    12. Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.

    13. Thorough understanding of budgeting principles and practices.

    14. Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues, seek and present solutions, and maintain strict confidentiality of information.

    15. Ability to prioritize and monitor multiple tasks, and delegate assignments and responsibilities.

    16. Knowledge and proven track record of successful leadership and management techniques.

    17. Excellent communication skills, including written documents, and public speaking presentations.

    18. Must be technology and process-efficiency driven.

    19. Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual contributor, and complete work within the designated timeframes.

    20. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and all Adobe Suites.

    21. Exceptional guest service skills.

    22. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated patience and tact.

    23. Exceptional detail and follow-up skills.

    24. Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or another related field, required.

    2. Minimum of five (5) years of digital marketing experience at a high-volume, complex environment in the hospitality industry, with a minimum of two (2) years leadership experience, required.

    3. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, ten (10) years experience at a high volume, complex environment in the hospitality industry is required. Minimum five (5) years in digital marketing, with a minimum of two (2) in a leadership capacity is also required.

    4. Demonstrated mastery of Adobe Suites, Microsoft Office Suite, required.

    5. Ability to build, develop, motivate and inspire a team of Marketing professionals.

    6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

    7. Experience working for a Tribal entity, preferred.

    8. Preference given to Hualapai Tribal members.

    Physical Demands:

    1. While performing the duties of this position, the team member is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, push, pull, bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on a regular basis.

    2. The Team Member must be able to concentrate for prolonged periods.

    3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

    4. The Team Member must be able to communicate effectively in person or using telecommunications equipment.

    5. Must have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to operate a keyboard, touch-screen display, telephone, and calculator.

    6. Frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.

    Conditions of Employment:

    1. Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.

    2. Must be at least 18 years of age.

    3. Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record, and be able to obtain approval to operate a company vehicle.

    4. Must comply with the GCRC Team Member Handbook, internal policies and procedures, and all rules and regulations set within GCRC and the Tribe.

    Working Conditions:

    Work environment will be an office setting, with occasional assignments in outdoor environments in multiple business locations. This will involve exposure to extreme weather conditions including, but not limited to: heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow. Occasional travel (local and statewide) for meetings, assignments, and regular job tasks. Extended and irregular hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be needed on occasion to meet business needs. Must be able to perform under pressure and work under stressful conditions. May be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with irate Team Members and customers.
