    Grand Cru Wine Bar is seeking a creative, disciplined, and challenge-driven candidate to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to hone culinary skills within a challenging and open-minded environment. The ideal candidate will utilize their skillset to improve our patrons experience through creative means from our innovative kitchen.Hours / Wages: Flexible, 15 Hours Minimum / Specifically looking for Weekends / $13.00 - $15.00 per hour, dependant upon experience.

    Culinary Staff Responsibilities:• Cook, plate, and serve menu items for our patronage.• Weigh, measure, mix, and prep ingredients according to recipes.• Prep items following daily, weekly, and monthly par levels.• Assist leadership in maintaining inventory quantities.• Assist leadership in maintaining quality of ingredients and prepped foods.• Must uphold health and sanitation standards of kitchen work area, equipment, and utensils according to Grand Cru Wine Bar’s SOP.• Assist leadership in documenting, improving, and creating food menu items.• Assist leadership in portion control and waste management.• Must uphold a clean and safe work environment.Requirements:• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.• Thorough knowledge of food safety protocols.• Must have a current Food Handlers License.• Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and health codes according to the Texas Food Establishment Rules.• Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, etc.• Able to remain on feet for more than 6 hours at any given time.• Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.• Prior experience in related food and beverage service and food preparation positions a plus.• Must be 18 years of age or older.• Must have a form of reliable transportation.
