    WHAT WE OFFER:

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Drive and operate the Chip Seal & Seal Coat spreader/distributer truck safely and accurately
    • Take ownership over your work, equipment, conditions, and surroundings to keep safety first in all things both for yourself and for all crew members
    • Accurately complete all necessary electronic logging (ELD), vehicle inspection reports, and timecards while keeping equipment clean and well maintained
    • Continually observe all leader instructions, traffic rules and regulations, customer specifications, and standards of the Company Code of Conduct
    • Think innovatively, actively participate in safety tailgate meetings, contribute purposefully to the Company's safety culture, and communicate clearly, openly, and constructively

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    REQUIRED

    • Must be 21 years of age or older
    • Current and valid Class A CDL driver's license
    • Tanker and Double endorsements
    • Ability to pass a driving and vehicle inspection test
    • Frequent travel to various work sites in the Western States

    PREFERRED

    • HAZ-MAT endorsement
    • 2-3 years of prior experience driving a spreader/distributer
    • High School Diploma or equivalent

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders in a construction/ plant environment.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds from floor to waist. Specific vision abilities required by this job include at least 20/30 Snellen in one eye and 20/50 in the other, with or without corrective lenses. Adequate hearing, with or without a hearing aid.  Ability to distinguish colors.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
