    GENERAL SUMMARY

    This position, under supervision, assists with the administrative Human Resource support at an assigned location, acting as a liaison to management/employees to ensure efficient and professional operations. 

    ESSENTIAL JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Under supervision, performs a variety of administrative, human resources and office support functions to ensure daily operations run efficiently and professionally.
    • Assist in the field and corporate office recruitment process to ensure the timely hiring of qualified employees.
    • Manage new hire on-boarding/orientations, for all field and corporate office employees, to ensure an efficient and effective process.
    • Assist, support, and partner with management regarding programs and policies in all areas of Human Resources to ensure alignment and support of all HR objectives.
    • Prepares drafts, processes edits and distributes a wide variety of information, (presentations, correspondence, reports, procedures, policies, etc.) some of which will be highly confidential and sensitive in nature, to ensure timely and accurate communications.
    • Assist with audits, new program rollouts, EEO compliance, etc. to ensure clear understanding and compliance at the local level.
    • Assist with various aspects of talent acquisition, including posting job requisitions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and attending recruiting events to ensure effective and efficient operations.
    • Schedules and coordinates meetings (including meeting invites, agendas, materials, food/refreshment, meeting minutes), handles travel arrangements and maintains calendar to ensure deadlines are met.
    • Serve as the point person for all telephone, mail and in person inquiries to ensure all matters of significance are brought to attention and that outstanding customer service is provided.
    • Comply, understand, and promote corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment.

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, organization development or similar area of study required

    Work Experience

    • 2+ years of increasingly responsible office administrative experience
    • Prior experience in Human Resources a plus

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and personal information of employees.
    • Proficiency with all MS Office products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively disseminate information.
    • Ability to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to develop skill sets needed to promote into a HR Business Partner position.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
