Job Description

The Granite Group's Haverhill, MA location is seeking a talented and experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team.

This position is responsible for serving Granite Group customers by providing them with the information or service requested in an accurate, courteous and timely manner, while keeping the best interests of the customer and The Granite Group in mind at all times. The general responsibilities include answering the telephone, communicating pricing, preparing quotations and checking inventory status. In addition, promoting new and existing products to customers as well as any specials in place is a key aspect of this role.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE STRONG CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS, AN ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND HAVE EXCELLENT ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS. GOOD TIME MANAGEMENT, COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS ARE CRITICAL TO SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION. A STRONG DESIRE TO SERVE THE CUSTOMER WHILE SELLING AND PROMOTING OUR PRODUCT LINES IS NECESSARY. A STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF PLUMBING AND HEATING PRODUCT LINES AND PROFICIENCY WITH COMPUTERS IS REQUIRED.
