Granite Hills Group is seeking candidates for the position of Vice President of Sales.
As Vice President of Sales, you will provide strategic direction and progressive leadership to achieve the organic revenue and profit growth goals of our organization. This position will be an integral part of our leadership team and will own “a seat at the table”. This position is high-visibility and will report directly to the President of Granite Hills Group. The ideal person for this growth role is an outside-the-box thinker who leans into data and never settles for the status quo.
What You Will Be Doing?
· Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for the organization, aligning with the overall growth goals of the company.
· Leading, coaching, and inspiring a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success, collaboration, excellence, and accountability.
· Establishing and fostering strong relationships with key decision makers throughout our market areas to identify desirable opportunities and drive business growth.
· Analyzing market trends and competitive landscape to identify strategic sales opportunities and develop appropriate go-to-market strategies.
· Driving sales budgeting, forecasting, and performance management processes to ensure accurate revenue projections and timely decision making.
· Collaborating closely with operations and leadership to ensure organizational alignment.
· Monitoring and reporting on key sales metrics and KPI's, providing regular updates to executive team.
· Continuously improving sales processes, tools, and strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer experience.
· Bringing a passion for service every day.
· Never settling for status quo.
Job Experience and Education
· Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role.
· Minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated record of success in selling services or other intangible business offerings to building owners, asset managers, and C-level decision makers.
· Strong experience in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets within a B2B environment.
· Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate sales teams.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
· Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
· Proven experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
· Familiarity with CRM systems and SE tools to drive productivity and sales effectiveness.
· Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
· Natural sales mentality, goal driven, and self-motivated.
Travel Requirements
· This position will require extensive same-day travel, and occasional overnight travel throughout North and South Carolina.
