Job Description

Multi-Doctor Optometry office located in Roseville, CA is in search of a Full-Time Optician to join our family-oriented team.

Our ideal candidate is a responsible minded individual that can work independently with minimal supervision; but who is also driven and enjoys sales. Duties will include but are not limited to: answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, frame styling, selecting appropriate type of lenses and lens enhancements, frame adjusting, repairs, dispensing, collecting insurance information and verifying eligibility, collecting payments, insurance billing (VSP, Eyemed, etc.), frame inventory control, problem solving, troubleshooting, perform necessary lab work as required (final inspection, dying lenses, etc.).

Key Requirements:

• Ability to work M-Th 7:30am to 5:30pm and F 8:30am to 12:30pm
• 2 years minimum optometry related experience or optical sales experience
• Knowledge of EHR (Compulink Advantage a plus)
• Optician - able to use a manual lensometer
• Optician - knowledge of vision and medical insurances and how to correctly calculate patient overages
