Creative STEAM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit learning center dedicated to offering an innovative alternative to traditional schooling for families and students. With support from community partners, we provide small group learning environments that many find more effective than regular classrooms. Our goal is to foster a love of exploration and discovery by offering engaging and interactive learning experiences for homeschool students from TK to 8th grade. We aim to empower students with skills and knowledge across all subjects including English Language Arts, Math, Science, History, and the Arts. Our ongoing initiatives include fundraisers, facility upgrades, and scholarship programs to enhance our educational offerings.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site and remote role for a Grant Writer located in Laguna Woods, CA. The Grant Writer will be responsible for researching and identifying potential funding sources, writing and submitting grant proposals, managing grant administration, and maintaining relationships with funding organizations. Additionally, the Grant Writer will assist in fundraising activities and support ongoing grant-related projects.

Qualifications

Experience in Grant Administration and Grant Writing

Strong Proposal Writing and Prospect Research skills

Knowledge of Fundraising strategies and donor relations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Laguna Woods, CA

Previous experience with non-profit organizations or educational institutions is a plus

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field
