    Organization Overview We are a mission-driven nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to improving access to high-quality, compassionate care for underserved communities. Our clinics provide essential medical services, preventative care, and health education to individuals and families in need.

    Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, preparing compelling grant proposals, and supporting fundraising efforts to sustain and expand our healthcare programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    Research and identify grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies

    Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports

    Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to gather data, program details, and outcomes

    Maintain a grant calendar and ensure timely submission of all applications and reports

    Track grant performance, reporting requirements, and compliance guidelines

    Build and maintain relationships with funders and stakeholders

    Assist in developing fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Health, Nonprofit Management, or related field

    2+ years of proven experience in grant writing, preferably in healthcare or nonprofit sector

    Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills

    Knowledge of grant databases and funding sources

    Ability to translate complex healthcare data into compelling narratives

    Excellent organizational and time-management skills

    Experience with federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) or community clinics is a plus

    Preferred Skills

    Familiarity with healthcare regulations and reporting requirements

    Experience working with underserved or vulnerable populations

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and grant management tools
