  • Responsibilities

    A respected organization is seeking an experienced Grants and Contracts Specialist to coordinate, manage, and ensure compliance of all grant and contract activities. This role is responsible for preparing proposals, tracking awards, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring that all programs meet federal, state, and organizational requirements. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with proven experience in grants and contract administration.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Coordinate the preparation, submission, and management of grant and contract applications.
    • Monitor awarded grants and contracts to ensure compliance with regulations, budgets, and reporting deadlines.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of grant activities, financial reports, and supporting records.
    • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate budget tracking and proper allocation of funds.
    • Review agreements for compliance with legal, fiscal, and administrative requirements.
    • Prepare and submit required financial and programmatic reports to funding agencies.
    • Conduct internal reviews to ensure adherence to grant terms and funding conditions.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff on grant and contract compliance policies.
    • Research new funding opportunities and assist in the preparation of competitive proposals.
    • Support leadership in maintaining transparency and accountability for all grant and contract operations.

    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field required.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in grants and/or contract management or compliance.
    • Knowledge of federal and state grant and contract regulations, including OMB Uniform Guidance.
    • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial management software.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
