Job Summary:

We are looking for a painter's apprentice to join our team! You will be learning how to prepare and perform professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.

The right fit for this position is someone eager and willing to learn and who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering quality customer service. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities/Things you will learn:

Set up, clean up, masking

Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques

Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, troubleshooting issues, and describing work orders as needed

Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary

Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks

Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs of equipment

Comfortable with working at heights, as high as 40'
