INTECON, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Graphic Artist to support the visual communication needs of the U.S. Navy Submarine community under the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Code 24. This position plays a vital role in creating compelling graphics and digital media that convey complex technical information clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders and Navy leadership.

Roles and Responsibilities :

The roles shall include:

• Design, develop, and produce professional graphics in support of submarine HM&E program briefings, executive reports, and stakeholder communications.
• Create visual solutions that communicate technical concepts, system capabilities, and program milestones using both print and digital media.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and program managers to transform data and technical content into easy-to-understand visuals.
• Provide graphic support for presentations delivered to senior leadership, including Flag-level and executive audiences.
• Design illustrations, infographics, and photographic compositions for inclusion in technical manuals, POA&Ms, dashboards, and stakeholder briefings.
• Maintain version control and archive of all visual materials in accordance with Navy records and data security protocols.
• Ensure compliance with Navy branding, formatting, and visual communication standards.

Qualifications :

Education :

Associate degree from an accredited university or institution.

Experience :

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional graphic design supporting technical or defense-related programs.
• At least 1 year of experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premier for illustration, photography enhancement, and multimedia layout.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, for high-impact presentation design.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience supporting U.S. Navy programs, organizations, or operational functions with visual communication deliverables.

Preferred Certifications and Training :

• Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) – Photoshop or Illustrator
• DoD Visual Information Training (e.g., NAVIFPAC, DINFOS Visual Communications)
• PowerPoint Master Presentation Specialist Certification (preferred)
• NAVSEA Style Guide and Branding Familiarization (preferred)

Proficiency in:

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier)
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Digital and print layout techniques
• Developing infographics and process visualizations
• Managing design archives and supporting document control workflows

Security Clearance :

Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
