Position Overview

We are seeking a talented Graphic Design Artist with production experience to join our creative team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing for large format print, understands production workflows, and can transform client concepts into print-ready files. You'll work on a variety of exciting projects, from high-profile events to permanent environmental graphics, and be part of a team that values creativity, technical precision, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Design large format graphics for various applications including wall wraps, vehicle wraps, banners, signage, event displays, and environmental branding.

Prepare production-ready files with proper bleeds, color profiles, resolution, and specifications for large format printing.

Collaborate with clients, project managers, and production staff to understand project requirements and ensure design intent is maintained through installation.

Create mockups, proofs, and presentation materials for client approval.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Conduct quality control checks on files before sending to production to ensure accuracy and minimize errors or rework.

Maintain organized file management and adhere to brand standards and style guides.

Troubleshoot design and technical challenges quickly and effectively.

Stay current with design trends, printing technologies, and substrate capabilities.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in graphic design for large format print production.

Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

Strong understanding of large format print processes, substrates, and color management (CMYK, spot colors, Pantone).

Ability to prepare files with proper bleeds, grommets, seams, and panel layouts for large scale applications.

Experience designing for vinyl graphics, signage, vehicle wraps, and environmental installations.

Strong typography and layout skills with keen attention to detail.

Ability to interpret client briefs, technical specifications, and installation requirements.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects under deadline pressure.

Portfolio demonstrating large format design work required.

Preferred Skills

Experience with vehicle wrap design and templates.

Knowledge of wide format printers, materials, and finishing processes.

Familiarity with 3D rendering or visualization software.

Experience designing for trade shows and events.

Basic understanding of installation processes and constraints.
