Gain practical work experience in the graphic design field within an in-house marketing department by assisting Safetec with its marketing and branding initiatives. The Graphic Design Marketing Intern will work closely with on-staff designers and internal departments at Safetec to help create artwork files, update and design digital images, create and update collateral, archive past marketing labeling art, and more. You’ll also see the creative process and how strategies and concepts are built and executed. This is also an opportunity to improve your skills in standard software like the Adobe Creative Suite and learn to use other programs used within a marketing department for email campaign creation and scheduling, website software, and more!

Responsibilities include:

• Creating digital artwork files for packaging
• Filing artwork both digitally and physically
• Creating social media graphics and video
• Helping to keep track of collateral
• Product photo editing
• Create & Design Customer Facing & Internal Collateral
• Research

What are we looking for?

• Currently pursuing a BA or BS in graphic design
• Will need to have strong multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient with business software (MS Office) and Adobe Creative Suite
• Possess introductory digital knowledge and insight
• Good interpersonal and writing skills
• Detail-oriented and good organizational skills
• Passion for the marketing industry and design
• Creativity and need to want to learn about the development and execution of marketing promotions
• Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
• 15 to 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM).
