Graphic Designer – Creative Sign & Environmental Graphics Company

As a Graphic Designer, you’ll go beyond traditional design to deliver “Wow!” moments through branded environments, large-scale graphics, wayfinding systems, and architectural signage. This is not a print, web, or packaging design role—we specialize in physical space enhancement through XD/ Experiential Design.

Full-time, in-person role based in the Columbus MSA. Portfolio Required: Please include a link showcasing relevant signage, 3D graphics, or Environmental/XD projects.

What You’ll Do

Design with Impact: Create high-visibility signage and experiential graphics that build brand identity.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work with fabricators, installers, and project managers to bring designs to life.

Support Creative Projects: Assist in concept development and visual asset preparation for signage, wayfinding, and environmental design.

Explore New Tools: Help integrate AI tools into the creative workflow for concept development and efficiency.

Ensure Quality: Maintain brand consistency and high standards through quality control.

Prepare for Production: Develop accurate, production-ready files and support technical design for engineering and permitting.

A Striking Portfolio: A portfolio of for profit work that demonstrates your creative potential and/or experience with signage, wayfinding, or environmental graphics. Examples of XD and Dimensional Design work are a plus.

Strong Technical Skills: Know that we are designing for the machines that produce the wow we are trying to deliver. Understanding of materials plus methods used to fabricate and install signs, wayfinding, XD or Environmental Graphics. is a giant plus.

Motivated & Proactive: An ability to take initiative, identify new creative needs, and manage your time effectively under supervision.

Team Collaboration Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to clearly convey design information to diverse stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

Problem-Solving Aptitude: A detail-oriented, solution-driven approach, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Educational Background: A 2- or 4-year degree in Graphic Design, Art, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Strong People Skills: Excellent customer service skills and empathy to effectively interact with a wide range of people.
