The licensed vocational nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivery of patient care in the Occupational Health Department utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, and any standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations. The LVN is responsible for meeting the established standards of their profession as well as those established by the Occupational Health Department. LVN practice is assigned, delegated, and supervised by an RN who has overall responsibility for the coordination and management of care.
