    THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.

    The Program Manager is the Chief Administrator for the company who is responsible for the overall supervision, management and evaluation of all personnel assigned to the Protective Services Contract for NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC). With full authority to act on behalf of the company, from his/her office at the NASA KSC, he/she will plan, direct, and organize any and all facets of the company’s contractual responsibilities. He/she is the liaison between the Government and Contractor.

     

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Maintain complete authority to act for the Contractor on day-to-day operations during the term of the Contract.
    • Meet the requirements of the contract, delivering high quality services that align with the needs of the customer and in accordance with applicable statues and industry best management practices
    • Completely understand the operational requirements of the contract to include the requirements of Emergency Management, Protective Services, Fire Services, Emergency Response and Training.
    • Implementing, monitoring, and upgrading the program management plan, and overall responsibility for ensuring the workforce complies at all times with the requirements of the contract and takes direction from the assigned Government POCs.
    • Provide all-encompassing protective services support to the program.
    • Provide oversight to ensure execution of a comprehensive safety and mission assurance program
    • Establish and maintain team-oriented working relationships with the Government at all levels in the organization

     

    Required Skills

    Required Qualifications and Experience:

     

    • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in Public Administration, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Contract Management, Security/Law Enforcement Management, or related fields. A combination of experience and education in Law Enforcement and or Security Support services totaling fourteen (14) years or more may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree and the required ten (10) years of experience.
    • Must demonstrate the following: (1) expert knowledge in all phases of current security technology as well as a broad working knowledge of the state of the art; (2) program management techniques including but not limited to management principles ranging from conceptualizing, preliminary planning, design, project development, and understanding of cost and control measures to include budget development and cost saving methodologies.
    • Should have experience in labor relations.
    • Proven leadership skills in program management, collaborating with others, as well as excellent written and verbal communications.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills (verbal and written), ability to multi-task and work under pressure
    • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint
    • valid driver's license
    • Ability to pass a comprehensive medical examination, psychological and drug screening;
    • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
