      POSITION SUMMARY:

     

     _           Sell products for various manufacturers to contractors and industrial users. Work with the account management and account representative team to grow sales with existing and new customers. May act as a liaison between customers and dedicated field sales providing pricing, availability and any required customer service, ensure excellent customer satisfaction._

      ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include the following; other duties may be assigned)

     

    • Assist with counter sales as needed which also could include opening and/or closing the sales branch location
    • Answer incoming sales calls & inquiries for all customers
    • Assigned a specific group of accounts that have sales targets and responsibilities
    • Responsible for complete order management, including expediting and communication with the customer.
    • Sales order entry and purchasing of customer requirements for specific price lines
    • Resolves customer order problems and complaints promptly.
    • Report lost sales
    • Write credits in a timely manner
    • Attend product and training sessions
    • Organize and maintain product catalog library
    • Develop superior product knowledge and assist customers with product application
    • Other duties and/or projects as assigned

     

      QUALIFICATIONS:

            EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

    • Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
    • High School diploma or G.E.D.; or
    • 1 - 3 years' of related experience and/or training; or
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

     

      REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must be in-person at the sales branch (not remote)
    • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
    • Must demonstrate good time management skills
    • Must possess strong planning, organizational and execution skills
    • Must have the ability to set goals and meet deadlines
    • Must possess excellent customer service skills
    • Must demonstrate ownership of assigned responsibilities and ability to get the job done correctly and in a timely manner
    • Must possess a proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution
    • Must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with co-workers and management
    • Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
    • Basic computer skills – MS Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Above average typing skills and 10 key by touch
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent phone etiquette & organization skills
