AFTERMARKET SERVICE SALES MANAGER - INDUSTRIAL ACCOUNTS

Cooper Power Systems, the Kohler Generator Distributor in NY, NJ & Southeastern PA, is seeking a highly motivated Aftermarket Service Sales Manager, to join our team in the NJ & PA markets. The Aftermarket Service Sales Manager, is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing our service business in a specific territory. He/she will be representing our Service Department, by selling new preventative maintenance agreements, and selling other products and services that are offered to help our customers properly maintain their generator sets. The sales process includes, but is not limited to prospecting, cold calling, qualifying, presentations & proposal generation/bid response and closing the sale.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALES – GROW MARKET SHARE WITHIN ASSIGNED AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY.
Bid on, and close preventive maintenance agreements for both new and existing customers
Must possess the “hunter” mentality and enjoy seeking new opportunities to grow our customer base.
Use selling skills, account management, and customer relations techniques to proactively grow market share and ensure Cooper Power Systems remains the top distributor in the market.
Understand products, applications and uses in the markets we serve.
Anticipate, meet, and/or exceed customer needs, wants and expectations. Respond to customers with a sense of urgency and ensure commitments are met.
Prospecting for new, major accounts within a territory
Develops value propositions based on unique customer needs
Delivers sales presentations to promote and sell the company’s services
Contribute Sales promotions & marketing ideas to maximize sales opportunities
Develops and executes a business sales plan for a specific territory
Reports sales and quoting information, provide weekly updates and share market intelligence
All other duties as assigned
