We are currently recruiting for a Counter Sales Manager based out of our Linden, NJ location. Based on the branch size, the Branch Manager is responsible for direct and indirect supervision of all departments, including counter sales, inside sales, warehouse/deliver, quotations/projects and operations.
SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE
Develops and maintains good customer relations, to promote Cooper Electric as the vendor of choice.
Continuously acquires and develops product and technical knowledge to assist sales team and customers with proper selection and use of products.
Trains personnel on appropriate delivery of customer service and extending branch resources to promote quality distributor services to our customers.
Makes joint calls with sales team, to existing or prospective customers to assist in building relationships and gaining new leads.
Follows Company credit and return policies.
MARKETING AND VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS
MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical products and applications, and will be highly skilled in selling products, service, negotiating sales, pricing and terms. The ability to communicate effectively and maintain strong customer service skills and inter-personal communication skills is required. A minimum of 4 years of industry related experience, such as, product, sales, purchasing, project or combination of experience and training in one or more areas. A minimum of 2 years management experience preferred.
