Stamford Hospital is seeking a full time experienced Senior Education (Training) & Organization Development Specialist!

The Senior Education & OD Specialist’s focus is on enhancing overall employee effectiveness through curriculum development, implementation and program management of organization-wide leadership development programs and resources; the design, delivery and support of leadership onboarding processes and procedures; and development and facilitation of appropriate individual, team and/or organizational OD interventions tailored to meet specific needs. The Senior Education Specialist will work in partnership with other Ed & OD team members to ensure all education programs (including online and classroom-based) and OD interventions align with the Ed & OD department strategy, are of consistent quality and are scheduled and delivered to meet organizational needs.

Required Experience

     The ideal candidate must have:

Bachelor’s degree in Organization Development, Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, Education or related field is required. Master's degree preferred

A minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in the Training and Development field is required

Experience in the design and delivery of education programs/curriculum

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong Communication & Facilitation Skills (written, verbal and presentation)

Relationship Management

Problem Solving and Analysis

Customer Service Orientated

Experience using virtual classroom technology (such as GoToTraining or Adobe Connect) a plus

Experience in Healthcare a plus
