    Your mission at Tastepoint will be to support the specific Regional Account Managers (RAM's) on the Taste segment in North America and to provide proactive assistance to business development initiatives, to ensure all customer activities/needs are completed on-time and in a worry free manner.

    Required Skills

    ABOUT YOU:    We are looking for an individual with a degree in Sales, Marketing or related field along with 2 years of experience performing Customer Service or Administrative role in a Flavor, Food or Beverage manufacturing company.  Familiarity with flavor systems and flavor industry nomenclature is ideal but not required. To perform this job successfully, you must be action oriented, and customer focused, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with, interact and collaborate with individuals and departments to achieve desired results. 

    SALES COORDINATION

    • Comprehensive support of RAM's on specified accounts
    • Demonstrated computer literacy to navigate internal software systems to enter projects, sample and documentation requests and pricing support
    • Possess sound judgment and exceptional interpersonal skills to create worry free experiences for customers
    • Demonstrated ability using Microsoft Office products efficiently to compose emails/presentations/letters and various communications, charts, graphs and PPT presentations
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, plan, manage time, and prioritize work efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver quality work
    • Provide superior attention to detail when processing customer inquiries and presentations
    • Possess critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to analyze an issue/problem, and provide recommendations for an effective and efficient resolution
    • Scheduling meetings, define and coordinate agendas, and negotiate rates for travel and food

     Familiarity with the Sales Order process is also ideal but not required.

     

    Required Experience

    HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME:

    BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND SUPPORT

    • Responsible for supporting RAM's with business analysis, customer information/report requests, preparing for presentations, managing communications. 
    • Coordinate business reporting and updates with information from Operations, Creative, project management systems

    COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERFACE WITH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS

    • Coordinate Customer visits, travel arrangements, and associated food and meeting room scheduling
    • Prepare and coordinate agendas for customer visits
    • Track and compile relative sales data; create and disseminate reports
    • Assist with Sales Meetings and trade shows
    • Follow-up on customer projects, customer documentation/technical requests
    • Coordinate and prepare customer presentations
    • Keep RAM apprised of customer activity
    • Connect with peers at other locations to coordinate on dual-path projects
    • Work closely with Customer Service and Operations leadership on any customer issues or challenges.
    • Support Creative team for reactive & defensive projects
    • Participate in customer visits, tastings, update meetings, etc.
    • Other duties as assigned - backup Sales Support role if needed for vacation coverage
