My client is a mid-sized government contracting firm that is at the forefront of space technology and engineering—with rapid internal growth and a C-Suite team that has proven to be able to grow smaller companies to industry names. The firm is located in Rockville, MD, and is looking for an AP Specialist to handle the following:

• Full-cycle Accounts Payable
  
• Maintaining AP records, vendor set-up, updates, and reports
  
• ACH, wires, transfers, and preparing supporting documentation
• Weekly check runs
•  Assisting in annual audit and documentation support
• Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies when necessary.
• Provide process improvement recommendations with subsequent roll-out
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• 3+ years of full-cycle AP
• Experience with a Government Contractor
• Costpoint Experience preferred but not required
