I’m representing a rapidly growing mid-sized Government Contractor who specializes in data analytics and management consulting. This firm has over 40 years of industry experience, growing each year for the past 30 years (even during a pandemic year). They are seeking a Senior Accountant/Accountant to join their experienced team.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting controller in Month-end close procedures.
• Submitting invoices for T&M, FFP, CPP contracts each month.
• Performing full-cycle Accounts Payable & Receivable.
• Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assisting in DCAA audit.
• Ensuring all accounting processes are done in compliance with GAAP principles & DCAA standards.
• Assist in yearly 1099 preparations.
• Ad-hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration
• 1–3 years of experience at a government contractor
• Experience with Project-based Accounting
• Experience with Project-based ERP (Costpoint, Dynamics SL, Unanet, etc.)
