My client is a $30 mill professional services company based in Montgomery County, MD and is looking to hire a Controller. The Controller will report to the Managing Partner, handling the following:

• Enhance current processes and procedures for accounting, cash management, and budgeting/forecasting
• Lead the monthly and yearly close
• Prepare financial statements and support preparation of tax returns & audit
• Perform variance analysis to determine current and future trends
• Train staff on best procedures and maintain compliance with GAAP

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting senior-level accounting position, you should ideally possess a B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance, your CPA, and a minimum of 3 years’ experience leading the accounting and/or finance functions at a professional services company (i.e., consulting, financial services, engineering, legal).
