    ABOUT THE POSITION

    We are looking for someone passionate about designing and building web pages. You should have a good technical and design background as well as a passion for user experience.

    Your job will be to create new sections/pages of the website, update existing areas, and to help migrate our tech stack to Gatsby.js. You should be comfortable with React, Sass, CSS, HTML, using APIs, and exploring new web technology.

    You should have solid design skills and a portfolio of projects that are relevant to this position.

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • In this role you will be part of the UX/Design team. 
    • Work with the UX/Design to create and implement new designs
    • Optimize pages for maximum speed and design mobile-based features
    • Make sure pages are SEO friendly with proper meta tags and semantic markup
    • Create and manage a library of react components use for frontend web experiences
    • Review / Merge pull requests for the website
    • Work closely with UX/Product to improve onboarding experiences
    • Creating automated flows to help support marketing/sales activities
    • Ensure that web properties are semantic and have great usability
    • Collect feedback from users and take part in user testing to improve the user experience
    • Enforce high-quality visual standards and brand consistency on all web properties
    • Help maintain a visual style guide of components and brand assets
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technology for front-end development

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A portfolio of design related projects 
    • Experience with markup languages, JavaScript, CSS, Sass and React, Styled Components, Web frameworks, Redux, React Router
    • Understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
    • Knowledge of browser testing and debugging
    • Understanding of responsive styles and responsive design
